ECG Preps for MIB shoot (Mentor in Black)
As I’ve mentioned before, ECG has been commissioned by the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta to create a series of entertaining and educational web videos that will be viewed by “big brothers” to prep them on what they need to do to be a good mentor.
The videos will launch on the web later this summer and will include information for mentors that includes, Warm weather activities, pushing their “littles” towards college, as well as ways to stay active.
The production is slated for the end of this month, and will involve a large cast, and three full days of shooting. We’re shooting the video in HDV on our XL-H1 and we have a range of locations for this shoot, including a golf course, a public park, a football field, as well as several houses and ECG’s studio. We’ll be doing extensive green screen work as well as some other special visual effects that will add some WOW to the videos.
In particular we will be using a green screen to create the entire M.I.B. Headquarters. The script calls for our 2 main characters to be standing in front of an entire wall that is a map of the USA with lights blinking all over it. We didn’t have the budget to actually buy and build the map, but the green screen should suffice. I’ll post my progress and some graphic samples over on ECG Graphics
